Law has become indispensable in every facet of human life and endeavour. India as a buoyant economy is reinventing itself to find its rightful place as a global leader in an everchanging legal environment which requires speedy justice delivery system and ease of business by ensuring legal compliances. Legal professionals have a notable role to play in ensuring speedy justice and attempting to identify and provide solutions to these emerging issues. Increasing awareness among citizens about their rights has further augmented the need for quality legal professionals.

The School of Law MIT-WPU offers programs such as Five-Year BA LLB and BBA LLB program, Three-Year LLB Program, One-Year LLM Program and PhD in Law. We at the School of Law try to inculcate and cultivate the right professional virtues with strong analytical skills and encourage our students to pursue excellence so that they can effectively respond and contribute to the everchanging legal dynamics in the nation and across the globe. Our focus is on providing quality academic and employment-focussed education which would help our students to achieve the desired success and excel in the legal profession. Our highly qualified faculty members in their respective fields of expertise are committed to nurturing, encouraging and enriching our students and helping them to widen their horizon of learning throughout their academic journey. Apart from being excellent in their academic delivery, our faculty members have published quality research papers in books and national and international journals. Our knowledge partners are expert professionals from the judiciary, academia, leading law firms, and corporates in the country and across the globe who with their vast experience add flavour to the curriculum of the School of Law designed to meet the needs of the contemporary legal world.

The academic learning in the classroom is complemented by Guest lectures, Seminars, Webinars, Workshops and Conferences conducted and delivered by distinguished luminaries from academia, corporates, law firms and the bar and bench. We actively involve our students in organising these events which besides being an avenue for introducing our students to the legal world provide them with rich experience and inculcate in them versatile qualities such as leadership and team spirit. We attempt to refine our students by engaging them in co-curricular and extra- curricular activities such as Moots, Debates, MUN, Sports and Cultural activities and encourage them to render service to the community by participating in Legal Aid activities. The MIT WPU Law School with the state-of-the-art infrastructure, well-equipped library, online databases, Moot Court Room, Auditorium, Seminar Hall, cater to the wide-ranging learning needs of our students.

We at MIT WPU School of Law through Our Rural, National and International Immersion Programs sensitize our students to the needs of the society on one hand and provide exposure to a new world of language, society, culture, lifestyle, and human values within the country and across the globe. Internships at the School of Law provide a perfect platform to refine the competency of our students and enhance their problem-solving ability besides preparing them for the industry. Internship is therefore knitted into the curriculum and forms an integral part of the student’s academic progression. The students are provided with placements sourced through faculty and institutional contacts and with a consistent interface with the legal fraternity. We are proud of the achievements of our alumni and are constantly striving hard and aspire to prepare highly successful legal professionals who would be able to achieve their goals with utmost sincerity and integrity upholding the ideals of the legal profession and thereby contributing to the process of nation-building.
