MA in Political Leadership and Government
MPG one-of-a-kind master’s degree is designed to create future leaders in the fields of governance and the political system. It has been founded on the vision of creating ethical, spirited, and committed political leadership for the country from the grassroots level and from all walks of life. The programme gives an in-depth knowledge of various facets like political strategy, analysis, electoral process, functional politics, international and public relations, NGO, media, and more. It also includes two intensive internships for hands-on knowledge application. The programme also boasts of guest speakers actively engaged in the politics and administration of the nation, as well as a national and an international study tour.

Selection ProcessThe selection to the MPG Programme is based on a written descriptive test followed by a detailed Personal Interview.
- Political Communication: Involves verbal and written communication, advertising, branding, social media management, and public relations
- Constituency Management: Focuses on the development and effective management of constituencies for MPs, MLAs, corporators, Zilla Parishad, and Gram Panchayat members
- Campaign & Elections Management: Encompasses planning for various elections. Involves strategic campaign planning utilising media, research, data analysis, and psephology
- Hands-on Learning: Minimum 6-month internship with offices of political parties or political leaders
- Immersive Learning: National study tour to Delhi is organised to give first-hand exposure to meet policymakers, legislators, bureaucrats, institutions & media houses
