Sponsored Research
The Research and Development Cell (RDC) provides the necessary support to assist faculty members in all aspects related to applying for research grants, training, consultancy, and IP filing.
The focus of the university is to excel in providing solutions to the problems being faced by society through both applied and fundamental research.
It is the research infrastructure, coupled with faculty, students and research scholars that has enabled the university to seek multiple major R&D projects through grants from government agencies, as well as public and private sector companies.
RDC assists in enhancing faculty research through providing information regarding funding agencies, as well as select domain areas in which proposals are being sought. RDC encourages the faculty applying for research funds to have an industry partner in the joint research proposal, which showcases both value being delivered to the partner as well as knowledge enhancement in that particular domain.
