Their invaluable insights will provide participants with unique perspectives on career growth and leadership in the energy sector.

What is IADC?

The International Association of Drilling Contractors (IADC), founded in 1940, is a global organization representing the interests of drilling contractors. Over the decades, IADC has become a prestigious platform for the oil and gas drilling sector to collaborate, share knowledge, and address industry-wide challenges. With a global network, IADC connects stakeholders, industry veterans, and future professionals, facilitating innovation and solutions for the energy industry.

IADC Student Chapters offer students unique opportunities to engage with the global IADC community, network with industry experts, and participate in various chapter activities. These experiences allow students to immerse themselves in the dynamic world of oil and gas drilling, fostering a deeper understanding of the industry’s complexities.

IADC MIT Student Chapter: A Landmark Initiative

On September 23, 2019, MIT-WPU, Pune, achieved a historic milestone with the inauguration of the IADC MIT Student Chapter, marking the first-ever international IADC Student Chapter in India and outside the United States. This event also celebrates the 5th anniversary of the IADC MIT Student Chapter and the Student Chapter in India.
