Dr. Vishakha Vijay Sakhare

Bio

Dr. Vishakha Sakhare is currently an Assistant Professor in the School of Civil Engineering. She obtained her M.Tech degree in Construction Technology and Management, and a Ph.D in sustainable construction materials from VNIT, Nagpur. Her research has resulted in one granted Indian patent (Patent NO. 381608) and she has authored 36 publications in renowned journals (Scopus and SCI indexed) and conferences at national and international level. She has 4 years of teaching experience as an assistant professor at BITS PILANI / VJTI, Mumbai, and has also worked in the industry for around 6 months focusing on green buildings. She has received numerous awards and grants for her research work and has published her work in reputed magazines such as "Architectural Updates".
