Bio
Dr. Vanisree Ramanathan, Ph.D., Associate Professor at MIT World Peace University located in Pune. With an illustrious career spanning 19 years, she has made significant contributions in the fields of Sociology, Public Policy, Public Health, and Law. Dr. Vanisree has held full-time faculty positions at prestigious institutions including Symbiosis Law School, MIT School of Government in Pune, and Chinmaya Vishwavidyappeth in Cochin.Her expertise encompasses a wide array of interdisciplinary subjects including Public Health, Health Policy, Heal care laws Gender Studies, Education, sustainable Development, Good Governance, and Social Philosophy. Dr. Vanisree is renowned for her prolific research contributions, having authored and reviewed numerous scholarly papers in esteemed national and international journals. An accomplished writer and eloquent public speaker, Dr. Vanisree is known for her passionate advocacy and effective communication skills. She employs innovative teaching methodologies such as experiential learning and participatory development paradigms to engage learners across diverse contexts. Dr. Vanisree has spearheaded numerous community awareness programs aimed at the holistic development of various demographic segments including adolescents, women, children, the elderly, and differently abled individuals. Additionally, she has successfully led both minor and major research projects addressing pressing social issues, demonstrating her commitment to academic excellence and societal welfare.
