Bio
Shreeram Suresh Joglekar is an Assistant Professor in Bioscience and Technology with a M.Sc. in Biochemistry and an ongoing Ph.D. With a talent for team leadership, he is able to communicate effectively with people of all ages and backgrounds, work collaboratively to resolve problems, and motivate team members to achieve organizational objectives. He possesses expertise in a range of laboratory techniques such as animal cell culture, PCR, RT-PCR, native and denaturing PAGE, protein purification, ion exchange chromatography, paper electrophoresis, and biological and chemical synthesis of nanoparticles using hydrothermal, co-precipitation, and reverse co-precipitation methods. In addition, he has experience in atomic force microscopy (AFM), scanning tunneling microscopy (STM), laser Raman spectroscopy, COMSOL modeling and simulation for microfluidics, and electrochemistry. His areas of expertise include nano-biotechnology, bio-engineering, point-of-care diagnostics, nano-biointerface, and modeling and simulations for microfluidics.
