Bio
Dr. Shahbaz A. Dandin is working as Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at MIT World Peace University, Pune, India. He obtained his Ph.D. from MIT- WPU, in 2023. Ph.D. fellowship was granted by the Directorate of Minorities, Government of India (Grant ID: Ph.D.CR35/2018-19), in support of his Ph.D. research. He completed his M. Tech and B. Tech from Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), Belagavi, India. His expertise and Research interests are in the areas of Geosynthetics and Ground improvement, Indirect methods of subsurface exploration. He is a life member of several professional organizations. He has received several best paper awards from the reputed organizations. He is the reviewer of the several leading International journals in the field of geotechnical engineering and sustainable construction practices.
