Dr. Rohini Revansiddappa PujariAssistant Professor
Bio
Dr. Rohini R. Pujari earned her PhD from PES, Modern College of Pharmacy, Nigdi, affiliated with Savitiribai Phule Pune University in 2020. She completed her post-graduation from AISSMS College of Pharmacy affiliated with the same university in 2009 and graduation (B. Pharm.) from Bharati Vidyapeeth’s Poona college of Pharmacy, Pune in 2007. Additionally, she received a D. Pharm. from the Institute of Pharmacy, Bharati Vidyapeeth, Pune affiliated with MSBTE and secured the third rank in Maharashtra. With over 14 years of teaching and 10 years of research experience, she has cracked GATE 2007 with an All India Ranking of 209.
Dr. Pujari has been a principal investigator for a research project funded by BCUD, Savitribai Phule Pune University and has received a research grant of 2.2 Lakhs. She has contributed to various research areas such as Neuropharmacology, Cancer chemotherapy, Toxicology, Immunopharmacology, Metabolic syndrome and more. She has over 50 review and research publications in several standard national and international journals, including 25 indexed in Scopus and 11 indexed in Web of Science. Furthermore, she has authored four book chapters (three from Taylor & Francis and one from Nova Publishers) and two books titled "Preclinical Screening of Drugs" (Nirali Prakashan) and "Pharmacology I" (Technical Publications). Dr. Pujari has presented her research work at various national and international conferences (40 presentations) and is actively involved in the research activities of her institution.
Dr. Pujari has guided several M. Pharm. students for preclinical screening of drugs and is currently mentoring five M. Pharm. (Pharmacology) students. Her current Google Scholar H-index is 9 (I10 index- 8) with 476 citations. Additionally, she has handled portfolios of hackathon and innovation cell coordinator.

1. Research Grant of Rs. 2.2 Lakhs received from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Board of University Development (BCUD) in year 2014 for the research project “Evaluation of protective activity of some naturally occurring plant polyphenols against chemotherapy induced toxicities in laboratory animals”. Project Completed and submitted successfully.
2. Innovation grant of Rs. 1 Lakh received from Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Kothrud, Pune for the innovation project “Formulation and Development of Safe and Effective Novel multipurpose Cost-effective Formulation(s) to treat injuries, inflammation, wounds, burns, infections, pain, spasm, edema and other inflammatory reactions.”
