Bio
Dr. Prajkta Bhide is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Public Health at MIT-WPU. She completed her Masters in Health Science degree from Savitribai Phule Pune University (formerly known as University of Pune). She holds a doctoral degree (PhD in Health Science) from Savitribai Phule Pune University. Her doctoral work explored the epidemiology of birth defects / congenital disorders in India and their larger public health impact. She areas of expertise include conducting systematic reviews and meta-analyses, and quantitative data analyses. Her areas of interest include birth defects, maternal and child health, epidemiology and health economics.
