Bio
Dr. Nivedita Gogate is currently working as an Associate Professor in the School of Civil Engineering, Dr Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune from 2018. She joined the MIT-WPU in 1996 and since then she has been associated with teaching, administrative, research and examination work of the university. She completed her BE (Civil Engineering) from COEP followed by M.Sc. Env. Eng. (MS in Environmental Engineering) from University of New South Wales (UNSW), Sydney, Australia. She developed training manuals for Environmental Awareness in Industry for managers and workers in association with an Australian consulting firm. She has an industrial experience of 2 years and teaching experience of 26 years. She completed her PhD in Civil-Environmental Engineering from COEP. She has published 5 research papers in International journals of good repute and presented papers in International conferences. She, along with her colleagues has published an Indian patent. Presently, she is working as a PhD Coordinator of School of Civil Engineering.
