Bio
Dr Minal Deshmukh is an Assistant Professor in Petroleum Engineering with a PhD in Chemical Technology. She has 15 years of teaching experience and 1 year of industry experience. She has published 13 papers in international journals, presented 11 papers at national and international conferences, and participated in 25 workshops/STTPs. Dr Deshmukh has 2 patents granted in the Indian patent journal for the synthesis of biofuel from non-edible deoiled cakes and a process for bioethanol, biogas, and manure from deoiled non-edible cakes. She has filed 4 patent applications. Her research interests include bio-energy, enhanced oil recovery, oil spill removal, carbon capture utilization and storage. Dr Deshmukh has secured research funding worth 51.50 Lacs and has completed 3 research projects including one under the DST Young Scientist Scheme. She has also provided expert advice and field visits for industry projects. Dr Deshmukh's ORCID ID is 0000-0002-6534-5005.
