Bio
Prof. Mahesh Maganlal Makwana is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Civil Engineering at Dr. Vishwanath Karad MIT World Peace University, Pune. With a Ph.D. from MIT Pune, under the able guidance of Prof. Dr. Mrudula S. Kulkarni, his research area is Durability of concrete, Precast concrete, and Structural Health monitoring. He has a total of 24.5 years of experience, out of which 19 years have been dedicated to teaching and 5.5 years to the industry. Prof. Makwana's expertise lies in the area of Durability of Concrete made from Recycled Concrete Aggregate and its application in precast construction.
