Bio

Dr. Kiran Kisanrao Kokate is an Associate Professor in Chemistry & acted as head for two years in the academic year 2021-22 & 2022-23. He has a teaching experience of 24 years. He has completed his PhD from Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravti and his area of interest includes conducting polymers-metal oxide nanocomposites. He has published 06 research papers in reputed journals. During his academic career he worked in various capacities like Faculty Examination Officer, Associate Head, F.Y.B.Tech, Senior Supervisor, Attendance Coordinator etc.

He got a minor research project from the BCUD, SPPU, Pune in the year 2016-18. He has worked as Co-PI on the project “Hailstorm management strategy in agriculture”funded by Indian Council of agriculturte,New Delhi.(Duration April 2011 to March 2014)

He has organized many workshops & conferences. He has delivered the talk in International e-Conference on Polymer & Nanocomposites which was held virtually on July 28-30,2021 organized by ES Publisher USA. He has also authored a book for first year engineering students. He has received Ideal Techers award in the year 2018 by MIT, Pune on the occasion of Teachers Day.
