Bio

Dr. Aquil Ahmad Khan has completed doctorate in Mass Communication from Pondicherry University (A Central University). He has pursued 5-year Integrated MA in Mass Communication from the Central University of Jharkhand. He has UGC-NET and JRF in Mass Communication and Journalism (Jan. 2017). He has also qualified for Andhra Pradesh SET in 2016. He is the awardee of the prestigious Maulana Azad National Fellowship.

Dr. Khan has worked as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mass Communication at Pandit Lakhmi Chand State University of Performing & Visual Arts, Rohtak (Haryana). Before joining academics, he worked as a copy editor for ETV News. He has contributed research articles and book chapters in reputed journals and in notable books. He has presented papers at national and international conferences. His research interest includes political economy, labour studies, and digital journalism. He has done a PG Diploma in Teaching Skills and Certificate Course in the Arabic Language. He has one and a half year of experience in industry and more than three years of experience in teaching.
