Bio
In December 2022, I proudly achieved a significant academic accomplishment by obtaining a Ph.D. in Statistics from the prestigious IIT (ISM) Dhanbad. I am now thrilled to be serving as an Assistant Professor at MIT WPU in Pune, where I can pursue my passion for teaching and research. As much as I love my hometown of Varanasi, I am thoroughly enjoying my academic journey here in Pune.
My academic journey has been filled with numerous experiences that have shaped my perspective and expertise in the field of Statistics. During my graduate studies, I had the opportunity to work on various research projects, which allowed me to gain valuable experience in data analysis and statistical modeling. I also presented my research work at several national and international conferences, where I received positive feedback and constructive criticism from experts in the field.
As an Assistant Professor, I am thrilled to be able to impart my knowledge and experience to the next generation of statisticians. I believe that teaching is not just about imparting knowledge, but also about inspiring and empowering students to become independent thinkers and problem solvers. I aim to create a dynamic and engaging classroom environment that encourages students to ask questions and explore their interests.
Moreover, I am passionate about continuing my research work in the field of Statistics, particularly in the areas of data science, machine learning, and predictive modeling. I am eager to collaborate with my colleagues and students to address real-world problems and contribute to the advancement of the field.
Overall, I am grateful for the opportunities that have brought me to this point in my academic and professional journey. I am excited to continue to grow and learn as an educator and researcher at MIT WPU, and to make meaningful contributions to the field of Statistics.
